Adaptors are now available as add-on

Dear Backers,
We appreciate all the wonderful feedbacks on our previous update. After reading through the comments, it has been apparent to us that making the adaptor available could benefit the user experience for a majority of our backers.
We are now including the adaptors as an add-on, this will allow the SealVax vacuum device to be powered by wall outlets as well as power banks, and other power sources as long as there is a USB port. Those who would like this as an add-on can do so by making a new pledge, or by managing an existing pledge. The add-on option will be available at the "Configure reward" step.
Those who choose to add the adaptor as an add-on can expect their SealVax to be delivered by the end of June.

Weโd like to share our latest update: we will now enableย bags add-on! Forย those who would like even more bags or those that feel limited by the combos weย currently offer, our add-on will allow more flexibility. People who are interested in purchasing add-ons will be able to do so and have theย flexibility to choose the colors they like for their add-on bags. Those who already pledged will have the same option as well, we will include add-on offers in the surveys we send out after our campaign ends.
Please note for those who purchase add-ons, they can expect their SealVax to be delivered by end of June.

SealVax is safe and will NOT damage your smartphone like plug in fans! Here's why...

We've been receiving questions lately about whether or not SealVax vacuum devices would cause any damage to smartphones from powering the device like other products such as the plug-in phone fans. Although we can see the resemblance between the two products, SealVax vacuum devices and plug-in phone fans operate in very different ways...
In the case of our SealVax vacuum device, when the smartphone power is cut off, our diaphragm module will push against the motor, preventing the motor from any further action. Meaning when our device stops, it will stop completely; therefore preventing a sudden change of current flow that is bad for smartphones.
Plug-in fans are essentially micro motors attached to soft rubber blades. When attached to smartphones,ย the motor will power off the smartphoneโs battery, spinning the blades. Sometimes, when the smartphone power is cut off due to poor connection or a short circuit occurs, the rubber blades will continue to spin. This will generate electricity, and the excessive power generated flows back to the smartphone. This sudden change of current flow is very bad for the phones, and often results in damaging the battery or charging module for smartphones.
We hope this update answers some of the concerns our backers might have with our vacuum device and safety of their phone's battery.
